Swim Ways sent me two new chairs at no charge. The new chairs have canvas bands holding the canopy in place. I'm please with the customer service. Satisfied Customer! "I don't recommend this product unless they address the poor quality wide black band that holds the canopy in place" I have the same problem that others have expressed, the band crumples and makes the canopy on the chair worthless. I purchased 2 chairs and both have this problem. In all fairness, I haven't contacted Swimways customer service to see how they plan on making me right? I'll keep you posted... Sincerely, Disappointed Customer

I have two of the blue color, canopy chairs. I like them, however the material for holding the canopy top on, has failed and no longer is there. All I have is the canopy frotn prongs to hold the top on, can not use back pack straps, canopy top will fall right off. how to get replacement material ?

I love this chair, it is my favorite. When I'm camping and it starts to rain (I live in WA state), I can still sit around the fire, drink my coffee and read my book without getting wet. However, even though I'm very careful with the chairs, the black plastic connections that hold the chair together 'Broke'. I called the company and asked to get a replacement part so I could fix it myself. And the 'sales representative' said, "these are made in China and therefore we cannot get replacement parts, sorry." Now I have a chair that is of no use to me. Again, it's a great chair; if only it would hold up better and you could get replacemant parts for it. Good luck!

I'M GIVING YOU 3 STARS BECAUSE I LOVE THE CONCEPT OF THE CHAIRS. BUT IF I RATED THE CHAIRS ON QUALITY YOU WOULD GET 1 STAR. I'VE HAD TWO CHAIRS FOR 2 YEARS, INSIDE STORED, NEVER ABUSED. THIS SPRING WHEN I TOOK CHAIRS OUT FOR THE SEASON THE BLACK MATERIAL ON ONE OF THE CHAIRS CRUMBLED AND THE CHAIR WAS USELESS, THE OTHER CHAIR HAS NO PROBLEM (YET). DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD BUY YOUR PRODUCT AGAIN OR RECOMEND IT TO OTHERS. THRU THE BAD CHAIR IN THE GARBAGE

I'm thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with a product that doesn't work & a Customer Service department that hasn't made an effort to help. I tried to use our brand new Kelsyus Canopy Chair this past week at the beach - it was hopeless & time-consuming trying to get the canopy open due to some sort of cylindrical-shaped 'gear' attached to the metal bars instead of clamps - we ended up folding the chair back up & keeping it at the beach house. We've stored the chair since it was delivered in April/May of this year - anticipating our vacation - and now we cannot use it at all! Trying to force the canopy open would bend the metal bar or break the plastic gear (or whatever it is) - it doesn't make sense. My husband thinks he has to somehow disassemble this gear & the clamps will be underneath - but I cannot believe we should have to manipulate anything - it should be 'ready to go'. I won't let him touch it! What the heck is this 'device' anyway?? Customer Service told me that unless I could prove the chair was mine, they couldn't help - all I could find was a Registration Card for me to fill out and a green Swimways Customer Service Contact card - there's no Serial number or Model Number on the chair. So, it looks as if I'm stuck with a product that is worthless and I feel as if I've been scammed.
