I received this hammock as a gift. The person bought this for me from Costco. I absolutely love the product, however, the hammock material seperates at each end where the grey material meets the blue. I only weigh 215 lbs, which is way less than the max. I have returned this once to Costco, thinking it was a defective unit, only to find the same thing happen to the replacement after just 2 uses. I am very disappointed in the quality. I am hoping after market hammocks will work with this frame.

I purchase this hammock because of its size and weight load capabilities. I am well under the limit at 255 pounds. This hammock is the most uncomfortable hammock I have ever used. The fabric is supported by an eye on each end hooked to the frame. With no weight in the hammock, this looks very inviting. When I get into the hammock, the material pulls tight from end to end, right down the center, and it feels like I'm laying on a steel rod. The edges of the hammock are loose, since they are not directly supported by the frame. There are metal tubes that keep the fabric spread out, but they do not support the weight. When I contacte customer service to see if I was missing something in the set up, I was told I was not, and that the hammock was designed this way for safety, it was not designed for comfort. If you look at the picture here on the website, you will notice the man laying in the hammock, but not in the center. He is off to one side, which is not the best place to lay in a hammock. I suggest you not purchase this hammock.
